Re: DFSS... I would really like to see more conversation in the design phase about constructability. If the designers were thinking how the trades would hand off the work in the field while designing, there may be more clarity about how to go about building the project.

Re: What makes construction interesting.... Contrasting to what you said I believe what makes construction interesting is that stuff gets done because people ask for it. Assignments being made and promises kept house the production system. In no other types of deliverables (other than projects) is there such an importance on reliability, planning, conversation and trust.
